Human Performance Community of Practice (HP CoP)
Community of Practice
• The Human Performance Community of Practice (HP CoP) is jointly chaired by the Close Combat Lethality Task Force on the office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness and the Human Systems Directorate in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering.
• Its purpose is to serve as a forum for strengthening necessary relationships within the HP CoP, share ideas on increasing human performance, and discuss opportunities for collaboration. The meetings are an opportunity for members to share stakeholder information, relevant new OSD and Service policies, key upcoming calendar events, program calls for the community, and recently funded projects of interest.
• The desired outputs of the HP CoP are better understanding of stakeholder initiatives and requirements, the fostering of collaboration opportunities to include teaming between laboratories, investment recommendations for human performance programs, and organization synergy on transition to higher technology readiness levels, and better operational connectivity and relevance.
