The DoD Grants Office is situated within the Basic Research Office, a Component of the Office of the Undersecretary of War for Research and Engineering. The DoW Grants Office is headed by the DoW Grants Policy Manager, who: reviews and updates DoW polices that affect assistance awards; sits on numerous interagency working groups headed by the Office of Management and Budget; and remains in communication with DoW assistance awarding agencies and provides expertise.
