DoW Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratories

The Department of War (DoW) Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratories (STRLs) serve a critical role, for the Department of War spearheading the advancement of the military’s technological capabilities through S&T.  The DoW STRL designation is reserved for DoW organizations executing S&T missions with a highly technical Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and business professional workforce.  DoW STRL designation is granted either by Congress or through the authority of the Undersecretary of War for Research and Engineering (USW(R&E)). Once designated, DoW STRLs have access to a wide range of workforce, infrastructure, and technology transition authorities supporting their specialized S&T mission and objectives.
